How accurate is the chart math, really?
We calculate the planetary positions for your birth data and compare them with the selected day’s sky. The interactive sky and reading use the same positions. Birth-time uncertainty affects houses and rising sign. The interpretation is intended for reflection.
What's actually free?
Your real birth chart and the Big Three sign reads (Sun, Moon, Rising). Unlimited I Ching casts with the classical Wilhelm reading every time. One free personal I Ching interpretation. Three days of personal readings and private reflection notes. A weekly sun-sign digest email if you want it.

How does the I Ching cast work?
Six coin flips using Node's crypto.randomBytes — the same random-number generator used for cryptographic keys, with no deterministic seed and nothing client-side to game. The classical reading draws on Wilhelm's German translation (1924), Baynes's English (1950), and the Ten Wings commentary. A personal interpretation against your specific question is the metered layer.
What about my data?
Your photos and birth data live on your account (Supabase, EU), encrypted at rest, never used for training. Full export of everything at /api/me/export-data once you're signed in. You can delete the whole account any time from your account page.

We plant through Tree-Nation, the same platform used by companies like Microsoft, Decathlon and The Body Shop. Each subscription renewal from your second month on triggers a verified planting in one of their certified reforestation projects — mangroves in Madagascar, native species in Kenya, fire-recovery forests in Spain. You get the tree's species, GPS coordinates, and public certificate on your /me/forest page; you can share it as proof.
The rest of what you pay covers running the readings — models, storage, the careful handling of the photographs you upload. We run lean so most of the margin can fund the forest.
